Exclusive Video: Sally Grooming Rodders
This video of Sally grooming Rodders was recorded by our own forum member, Kinglee.
Kinglee’s description:
Picture this, Sally and Rodders on quite a cold day in early March. It was just before Jeremy comes down to give the youngsters their tea so Sally was at the window watching and waiting. She must have thought that Rodders looked a bit scruffy to eat tea and, even though he was ‘playing’ with us through the window, she got hold of him quite firmly and began to groom him. Look at his little face – bless.
Sally made it quite plain that she was not impressed with his antics whilst she was grooming him and, boy, did she do a thorough job. No crevice was left unattended and, at one point, she had him upended on the bench with him nearly going over the edge and clinging on with one foot whilst the other foot balanced on the window sill – hilarious! He so looked like the naughty little boy who didn’t want Mum to wash behind his ears. At the beginning you’ll even see Sally shake his little shoulders as if to say ‘Sit still and behave!’ So funny!
At one point you can see Rodders making, what we thought, was a ‘play face’ at my daughter and he tried to ‘chat’ back with his little waving hands. It was very naughty of us really to carry on when we knew that he had to be good but he was being very responsive and we love him. As we saw later on, when we watched this back, Sally’s patience was being severely tested and to stop Rodders from being distracted, she blatantly covered up his eyes with one hand whilst she groomed with the other and that, as they say, told him and also told us who was in charge.
Sorry Sal for making a nuisance of ourselves, we knew we were being mischievous but didn’t realise how much until we came home and watched it back. Needless to say it was very, very entertaining and showed us how much Sally rules the roost in the nursery. She’s a great Mum.
